Junior Board

The Junior Board of White Ribbon NI are group of likeminded, determined young people who want to make a real difference and hold the same goal as the overall charity –to end violence against women and girls.

Projects they have engaged in include: 

  • A ‘Quiz for a Cause’ to fundraise for the charity. 
  • Received funding from Larne Youth Bystander Champions to hold bystander intervention training. 
  • They hosted a fundraising colour run. 
  • They have been a match ball sponsor for Larne Football Club. 
  • Attended BBC’s Children in Need day to help fundraise.

If you would like to get involved in the opportunity to help end violence against women and girls, here’s a few reasons why the Junior Board would suit you:

  • Shadowing opportunities to learn more about the work WhiteRibbon NI do 
  • Increase confidence. 
  • Develop skills for yourself and your CV. 
  • Make friends. 
  • Discuss important issues that affect society today. 
  • Engage with likeminded people your age
